Blue Box’s managing Director, Martin Aldrich, has been heavily involved in the club for many years and is currently the Colts Chairman. He said It was ‘Absolutely fantastic to welcome Kate to the club, I think everyone was captivated by the GB hockey team in Rio and their heroic efforts.

On Blue Box’s involvement in the club Martin said, ‘I have been involved in the club for 19 years after my eldest son decided to have a go at hockey, I found it was a fantastic inclusive sport for people of all ages to get involved with, I even persuaded to start playing when I was 42! I had never played before and thoroughly enjoyed getting involved in a team environment in the Owls, the Vets team at Camberley & Farnborough. I am passionate about getting kids involved in sport and part of our sponsoship goes toward that’.
